You shall go to the #masquerade #ball

Masque Mask

In September Wirral Hospice St John’s will be celebrating the end of summer in style with our luxurious Masquerade Ball.  A perfect opportunity to have some fun, the ball will be held on Friday 5th September at the award-winning, four-star Thornton Hall Hotel, with headline entertainment from local band Freak Out who will be playing late into the night.

Moving away from the more traditional Viennese masquerade we are taking the ball to South America for a modern and vibrant Latin party.  Guests will arrive like masked superstars on a red carpet (with obligatory photographer), and will enjoy our unique ‘Masquerade’ cocktail on the terrace before the electric atmosphere of a Latin carnival starts.

After cocktails, the carnival continues with a lively masked procession to the elegant Torintone Suite where the rest of the night will continue.  Exotic Samba dancers will entertain guests and introduce our sumptuous three-course dinner served in the luxurious surroundings of the hotel.

When dinner is over, the Samba dancers return to get the party going, with a short break for an auction, raffle and presentation of awards for the most stunning and creative masks. The party then continues with disco band Freak Out taking the party into the night with 70’s classics.

Tickets are on offer at £50.00 person until 12.00 noon on Thursday 31st July (£65.00 after this date) and include our ‘Masquerade’ cocktail, three-course meal plus fabulous live music and entertainment.

For more information or to book your ticket call Michelle on 0151 343 0778 or email michellet@wirralhospice.org,

This black tie event will be the highlight of the season, the perfect opportunity to get dressed up, let your hair down and have an amazing time!

We look forward to seeing you there… incognito…
