2013 will be a very special year for the Hospice, it’s our 30th Anniversary!

wirral_hospice_30_yearsNext year will be a very special one for Wirral Hospice St John’s. In June, we will be celebrating 30 years of providing care for the Wirral!

We are looking to establish a committee of supporters to help us with ideas and perhaps even help to organise a fundraising event or two with us. If you are interested in joining something like this, please sign up via our facebook group.

Signing up won’t commit you in any way, we’re just hoping to get an idea of interested numbers so that we can set up an initial meeting in Jan/Feb to invite you all along to. Then people can see if this is something they’d like to be involved with for sure.

In advance, may we wish you all a very happy and healthy 2013!

Congrats on 30 years : now I’ve just Tweeted that message for you on Twitter but failed to notice word “our”, so it looks like I belong to your organisation. However you kindly looked after my mum before she passed away in 2002. I follow you too on Twitter and try to be supportive as does the rest of my family. I will ring you. Hopefully you’ll capture the hearts and minds of everybody locally on Wirral because of the good work you do caring for people when they need it most. Thank you. Thanks all of you.

Thank you so much for your comments and support Michael, we really appreciate it. I’m glad that we were able to support and care for your mum when she needed it most. May she rest in peace. x
